I put on my Big Blue this morning (might have to time a new arrival any day now...) and completely forgot my 1000M was coming back from Simon Freese. The case had been polished in the past by hand (it's not possible to lap them) and Simon told me he could apply a radial finish with very minimal loss of metal. It looks superb and has transformed the watch. Simon looks after all my Omegas and always does superb work. The watch hasn't been away for long but I'd forgotten how nice it is.
