Toyo Proxes T1 Sport on Spec 1 wheels looks good handles better than stock Bridgestone 17's
When I bought my second S2000 a couple years ago, it had Toyo Proxes T1-R tires on it. I was going to replace them with Michelins but there was a good amount of tread on them and while the limits are very low, the breakaway characteristics are super linear and very communicative unlike the Bridgestone Potenza S-02 OEM tires. Those sucked and have totaled many an S2000.... including my first one :/
Couldn't resist when I found this one, though they aren't that rare. Ball made 3000 of the Bronze Engineer III, and since both of my grandfathers were in the railroads (that's where Ball got it's start), my father was a WWII pilot, and I flew Navy, thought it would be a good addition to my collection. My son loves it (he knows he'll get it eventually), and he flies 767s out in Asia.
