Seems to me I saw the exact same watch only this morning! Sun of a gun, it was YOUR watch I saw! A mechanical “jump-seconds” watch you’d swear was quartz!
Couldn't resist when I found this one, though they aren't that rare. Ball made 3000 of the Bronze Engineer III, and since both of my grandfathers were in the railroads (that's where Ball got it's start), my father was a WWII pilot, and I flew navy, thought it would be a good addition to my collection. My son loves it (he knows he'll get it eventually), and he flies 767s out in Asia.
