Earlier today, I doffed my Rolex D/J after three weeks on the wrist, and two trips to the mountains. For the next few days it will be my 28-year old Speedmaster 345.0808 with sapphire back, gold plated cal. 863 movement.
@Canuck nice, but because you used the term “doffed”, you have now don the Speedmaster without a don bezel.
Well whaddaya know, you did get lucky and saw a very rare off day for Severino! Not so much the Yanks offense though. Still, it looked like a really gorgeous day out in Toronto and I hope you guys had fun!
I never knew! I’m a “rustic”, according to this dictionary definition. A word probably only used by the denizens of the British Isles, and perhaps a Canadian.
Lucky to be wearing the beater. Little prick kicked me off my bike (not the Nine T) going home last night. I’m generally ok,few bruises and scrapes plus some stitches but would have been really pissed off if I had been wearing a nice watch and riding the BMW. Back to work today, so the beater it is...
new 145.022-71! All original and unpolished apparently - do you think I should replace the slightly damaged bezel?
keep it unpolished! i think it's not too bad! or do a very very light polish of the lighter scratches
