Thanks for your kind quote. I bought it from an old man in Germany who told me that the owner was a pilot at Deutsche Luftwaffe and used it as his main tool before and during WW2. Watch is from ca. 1935 (according to case and movement number) and in very good technical condition.

Good afternoon watch lovers a vintage Seiko HiBeat chronometer from 1973 today. Quite a difficult watch to capture with the faceted crystal, but still very accurate... 😀
This has a nice retro feel to it, the square case is very interesting...
Will look into that. I've never had an issue with the strap though ...very high quality IMO.
If you have a wide flat wrist like mine, the Victorinox rubber doesn't conform as well, and in it's effort to not bend it squeezes the sides of my wrist. It doesn't want to assume an oval shape but rather prefers a round wrist.
