Crazy busy last two days so this stayed on my wrist. So glad I got rid of the patent leather finish on the strap and realizing that this is one of the most beautiful pieces in my collection. Too long in the bank! The way it plays with light is incredible. Fiendishly hard to photograph.

Lolli(pop)ing around today with LWC 1of1

and answering yesterday's questions about this one
861 inside, case, bracelet, dial, hands, and "knackered (now repaired)" DON all sourced from OF members and assembled by another OF member. Not for collectors but fun to wear.

Nice, we're on the same page today! Mine is a 2nd-series example with the 15.26 movement. Also no military engraving and pencil hands. And also the wrong crown! Did you have a specific suggestion to find a correct crown?

Nice one!

PM´d you with details.

Lucien Rochat, with the Lemania 1873 movement ticking inside. Not to everyone's taste, but I kinda like it 😀

This has been my go-to watch since I got it - lately it's usually this or a Moonwatch, or maybe my X-33.

Yeah, I agree.. the white strap might be a bit over the top for this particular watch.

I’d shoot for a British Tan strap with white stitching. The Tan, if the right tone, would compliment the golden color of the bezel numbers, and the white stitching ties in the dial.
It’d rock as a summertime watch.
My 2 cents....
