EP with strong radium dial and hands, issued to swedish army.
Interesting Dial...why would a Swedish Military timepiece have a British Army crows foot on it? Never seen a Swedish Dial with any Mil Markings, other than the TG 195 and there's lots of speculation as to what that actually means.

Does it have three crowns on the back?

Certina DS ref. 5601 012 from 1961 with a fantastic dial variant on a GF bracelet from one of the other DS'. A combination made in heaven.

Whoah, no kidding!

Fantastic, Troels!

Always a great feeling when those sorts of ‘discoveries’ occur 👍..

I still cannot believe how accurate this watch is. It’s got an ‘adjusted to five positions’ Lemania movement in it. Only a second or two gain a day. It’s currently one of my favorite watches.

To some, it’s a frankenwatch. To me, it’s a stunt double for my Speedymoon, which cost me around five times as much as this did. I even found a 1450 bracelet for it.

Only three things, from the outside, give it away that this is not a real Speedymoon. Bezel is modern, not DNN; dial is service replacement for Speedymoon, with luminova and lower numerals on the date subdial facing outward; and, hands are also luminova, with the chrono second hand having the older tail.

Hey, two Doxas in a row!

"Aubry era" Doxa Searambler. The previous owner took such good care of this one, I'm always nervous that I will scratch it. 😉

One would have thought the fourth sub-dial gives it away as not being a real 'Speedymoon'...don't recall seeing any of these on a Gemini/Apollo Mission.

Last night I wore this new arrival (Beau Brummel) to a Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert.
