Have been searching for a nice example this rare bird for a while. This is a ca.1970 Longines Skin Diver Ref.8248-1, cal. 505. A cousin to the Ultra-Chron, they share some beautiful design elements including stunning bakelite bezels & orange / red minute hands. To me the traditional size 37mm and divers case on this model is just gorgeous. Add in the original signed steel bracelet and it’s the “cherry” on top!
