Finally, I don't need a jacket. This beauty really 'comes to life' in the natural light, which is very dangerous! I find myself constantly looking down at my wrist. I need to remind myself: "Eyes on the road!"😉

Beaters come in handy. Yesterday, we were late departing to a shindig out of town, and I needed a watch in a hurry. Went to my stash, looking for a running battery watch. This one surfaced. Several years ago, I serviced it for a friend of a friend. When it came to paying for the repair, the owner changed his mind. All I have in this one is sweat equity, and a cell. Caliber 955.114 ETA. This movement has been around for decades, is easily serviced, very reliable. And as much as I am not a quartz watch fan, this is one of the good ones.
