Congrats! The 2447 is drop-dead gorgeous. I’m hoping to get my hands on a CS3111—the first re-edition of the 2447—since it’s a little more within my budget.
Thanks, the 2447N really shows the pureness of the Carrera design.

Have you done a full pix spread and writeup on this watch? If not, please do so.

I have its' albino brother

For Seiko Sunday I went with the Prospex SRP773 Navy Blue Turtle.

I think this might be the best value Automatic Diver out there, at £200 in the grey market.

And today, something a little older, somewhat smaller, and a whole lot more elegant from the fine folks at Seiko.

Just arrived this morning - a 1966 Seamaster Geneve. My 3rd Omega, 2nd vintage model. I purchased it from a member of the OF family, who purchased it from Norman 2-3 years ago. Needless to say, it has great history. I couldn’t be happier.
(Mea Culpa - I thought all automatics made winding noises once you gently shook them. ::facepalm1::).

Ice storms in Toronto yesterday mean I’m flying a day later than expected and feeling rather blue... this icy blue dial seems rather fitting.

About to switch over to my Speedmaster Pro for the next couple of days. The Space Symposium here in town is putting me in the mood...

I thought my arm needed some exercise today, so I took out the heavyweight ......
This has been with me for over 12 years and I love it. 😀

I have that same watch in Titanium (circa early 2000’s) but it gives me no exercise at all.

Strapped this piece on this afternoon for a hospital visit, turns out previous surgery has not worked out and expect to be under the knife at some point next month 🙁
Definitely having some gin in the tonic this evening 👍

You forget just how heavy a Ti Planet Ocean 9300 really is, until you swap it to a Speedy Pro.

It's like wearing a feather now. You how when you were a kid and had a plaster cast on your arm for 8 weeks, and when it came off your arm wanted to float up into the air? Well, yeah...
