It's a great little watch, and I particularly like the fact that they used "666" for the depth rating. There are several versions of the Snorkel out there, but this one is my favourite - the others are quite clunky and big IMO. Cheers, Al
Hi Al! Lovely "devil diver"!! Roumors say that Bulova printed some dials with 660 feet in order to not offend certain sensitive souls. My DeepSea Accutron 666ft says hello:
ok then, if you insist.. give it to me ... oh, and thanks No need to say it's a gorgeous watch you have there
This big Longines, cal 12.68Z, has been left sitting in the box for a while. I do not know why. The smudge above "Longines" is on the crystal - not the dial.
This is an early '70s manual wind Baume et Mercier, 14K with opal dial. My father has had it since new, and he recently gifted it to me. Sorry, no movement shot yet...a bit tricky to open it. My watchmaker serviced it a few years ago, and he was very impressed by its quality.
Well, if it sits in the box more after this and you decided it needs more attention shoot me a PM first. How's my future watch doing?
Yes, it's about time... It's doing well, unfortunately it's going to go back into storage though. I have to give my others some wrist time. Definitely...I only have a couple of more days to satisfy my watch-fix though!
