Well...I found out the battery that’s in my new iPad Pro is not replaceable...you have to buy a whole new iPad. The Apple store folks said that by the time the battery turns to poop, I’ll need a new iPad anyway. So...I whipped out my 23j Elgin Veritas 376 and waived it [gently] in their faces...“No battery required for this machine...it’s over 100 years old...works like a champ!” 😁

I’ve run into the battery problem before, on instruments other than Apple products. Apple seems to feel that for every Apple product that gets repaired, the sale of a new Apple product they miss out on. I’ll bet one of the “fix your iPhone” places has a solution to a dead Apple battery.
