In the American South we have a New Years food tradition that involves black-eyed peas for Luck and collard greens for Prosperity. So I will spend the morning cooking up a big pot of Hoppin' John and a mess of greens.

·First day of the year, and first day ever on the wrist 😀
I bought this at least a couple of years ago, but it needed the correct crown and crystal/rehaut and they took a while to find. Managed to get a Sun buckle for it too last month. Very early 3647T within the first few hundred made. Now this one's done I can move onto the even more knackered 2447T that's been waiting in a drawer. Let's see if I can finish that one for new year 2019.

The 2447T is unfortunately so far gone it's going to have to go to Tag Heuer for a restoration. The hands would be just about possible to source but the dials are extremely scarce. It'll be interesting to see how much they want to charge for the parts...
