·I can relate to your statement, sir...when a friend of mine and fellow airline pilot told me about Speedy and how it has a plastic crystal over 20 years ago, I initially didn't like it either..."What a cheap ass POS!" was my initial thought. I came around, however. 😁
I actually thought it was too small. And i bought a planet ocean XL. After 6 months i sold it and got the speedy. Far more comfortable, at least on my wrist. And aftet the initial shock of omg its too small you realise that is indeed the perfect size

I thought I was a 'vintage watch guy' but somewhere during 2017 I became a 'vintage guy with modern watches'; all vintage inspired, at least.
