A Speedy Tuesday to cheer me as I make the 35 mile trip to another town for a followup dentist's appointment on a cool, gray, blustery Texas day, dental wimp that I am.

I鈥檓 actually in our Burbank office this week, but the weather has turned back in the Bay Area and there鈥檚 5 months of rain waiting for me when I get back. It鈥檚 like Seattle, but way less fun + way more expensive.
So I鈥檒l probably be wearing this a lot!

I still can't stop admiring this stunning piece. I've stopped wearing my Roadster. This was yesterday at my favorite local coffee shop in the Boston area thanks to an incredible barista:

Omega bumper ref. 2374-3, cal. 30.10 from 1944 馃榾

Gorgeous watch. Love the hands and the art deco(?) numbers, gives it a real 'Casablanca' feel.

It was going to be a quick site visit then into the office for a few hours but that had all gone out of the window by 9.30. I'm now waiting for the return of a piece of broken down plant before I can get to the office, where I will still have 3-4 hours work as a colleague is off sick who could have picked up the slack ... I can already see it being a take out tonight or, perhaps, a quick bowl of pasta. The Mark II's chrono is still running from timing this morning's coffee ...

Almost 48 years ago to the day on November 14, 1969, Richard "Dick" Gordon sailed to the Ocean of Storms and yesterday at age 88 Captain Gordon took his final voyage. Fair winds and following seas to the man that made the JB Champion bracelet with horned end pieces cool.
