“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty... I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.” ― Theodore Roosevelt
I found an old tube of Polywatch last night so I gave this a couple of goes. It still needs more rubbin' but it's keeing near perfect time and, despite the small size, it's very legible. For anyone wondering, I have 8 inch wrists and it's a Waltham A11 circa 1942. Issued watch that found its way to living in the UK (wouldn't be at all surprised if a GI swapped his watch for something like a Luger with a Tommy - the Brits had captured guns confiscated while watches and the like they could keep).
