Yes it’s a early junghans and it ticks away very nicely.....
It’s made by the German watch maker junghans they have been making watches for a 150 years or so and still make some truly beautiful watches today.....

I expected one of the usual: a 1920s 12 size American pocket watch in poor condition but NO!
We got this! An Irish made (Dublin) silver pair cased verge with a fusee from the mid 1770s.... and the friggin thing is running!
and all that scroll work... the pretty piecing of the balance cock... all hand done!
The non-quickset date on the 1675 is as much of a pain as everyone says it is
