This Montblanc Timewalker GMT was my first good watch and bought from a boutique. I've always regarded it as a noob tax and relegated it to its box. Now that I reconfigured the storage strategy I have decided to put it back into rotation. Know what? I like the dammed thing. It's got a beautiful design.

One of the few limited Speedies I seriously considered for my collection. And still might, under the right circumstances.

Nice collection
How is the Erbstuck looking on your wrist?

Looks great but the patina makes it somewhat illegible. But not so much to not like it. I love the strap and the beat up case. Makes it easy to wear and not worry about it. And no one has a clue what it is, so it flies well under the radar. I like it. May not make the cut though as I have to pay for the Lange 1.

It was the same for me. It is even the only Speedy I want. At least some part of it has actually been in space. Never posted on a tuesday. An act of principle and in honour of Ulackfocus/Upackmucus - my old idol.

Wearing my newly acquired Collins Watch. It's their first entry into the market, it's an automatic and called The Bronson. Small, Los Angeles based microbrand with a successful Kickstarter campaign. I have really enjoyed wearing it this week. The strap is a winner too from GunnyStraps. Not bad for a couple hundred bucks!

Finally. Back after a year at the world's most dubious watchmaker. This service/repair was something out of a nightmare but it actually seems to be running pretty well.

I take the cosmic perspective. Every part of every one of my watches has been in space; every atom was cooked in the belly of a star.

The currently very popular 16750 matte dial at work earlier today. I certainly don't need this watch like the Pan Am guys did 60 years ago, but I still enjoy wearing it!!
