A half hour long shower; sliding into the oldest and softest pair of jeans you own and a nice new cashmere sweater .... puts the world to rights again. Be happier still in ten minutes when the chilli and lime King prawns arrive. Not that I'm watching the clock ....

I have two Certinas of that vintage. Usually the Certina has used Kurth Freres movements in them. Movements I have always liked. But my two are seemingly like yours. Chrome plated cases! I find that a bit of an annoyance.
