Wearing one of my all time favorites. Breitling Avenger Seawolf Stratus Silver. Hope you guys had a great weekend and a good week ahead.
SBGA011 Don't know where the Gold hue came from. Amazing I can remember ref# of watches but @ times my own Anniversary skips my mind.
This one was found, in pieces, in a metal box marked OMEGA. In the box were 3 or 4 mid-50s vintage Omega bumper movements, all in pieces. This all was amongst the stuff I acquired from my late father's estate. So this watch had sat in that box for over 40 years. Surprisingly, it was all there, except for the case. I put it all together, and it sat until OB poster Tritium from Madrid sent me a PM that he had an extra (NOS) case. As to the bracelet? About 32 years ago, a local watch material supplier closed up, and I bought a bunch of older style watch bracelets, along with a truck load of other stuff. You asked about the kind of bracelet. I had to check. I found it in my stash, again, NOS. the trade mark on it says STL, and beyond that, I know nothing. Suits the watch, I think. I succumbed to temptation, re-set the calendar, and I'll wear it for a while. Along with the Omega, I'm wearing my 27-year old Rolex Date-Just which I serviced in November 2016. After one regulation and re-set in late November, as of today, it is 30-seconds fast. It gained 3 seconds in February!
Suffering from Speedmaster based indecision today... TinTin and the 2002, both on Eulit Panama Palma 2 piece straps.
Since finding the hands all stacked up yesterday, I just had to put it on for a posed shot. Debating keeping it this way until the baby's born!
