It's a cloudy day. But it got brighter opening the watch box... Nothing better on Tuesday than strapping on a Speedmaster.

Enjoy your day fellow OF members.

Stuck in a hotel room in Paris with the latest purchase. Off for more coffee and 2nd hand cigarette smoke!

There's been a smoke ban in Paris bars and restaurants for one year at least, inside - but I suspect that you aren't brave enough to have your "petit noir" outside with the current WE chilly temps... so don't worry, sip happy 馃榾

Ha true. But there seems to be this relaxed way of the smoking tables just being outside the open double doors.馃榾 it kind of reminds me of when aeroplanes used to allow a smoking section that started say at row 55. But if you were a non smoker on row 54 you would be better off just smoking馃榾 As an ex smoker I just find it teasingly good

Speedy Tuesday and I'm preparing photos for an ongoing vintage holster thread on another hobby forum.

The vintage Lawrence holster was a quality brand, this one dating from the 1950s or 1960s. This size holster is difficult to find as correct fit for a 3 1/2-inch Smith & Wesson N-Frame .357 Magnum which is a scarce barrel length variant. The revolver was once considered "the FBI model." This example dates from 1952-1953.

Speedmaster is a garden variety example from 1985.

Featured equipment today is my cheap and handy Tac-Force rescue knife. It's nice because it has the blade itself, a special safety blade for slicing seat belts(without slicing the patient) and a window punch at the base of the handle. Can't forget the bonus "Star of Life" logo on the handle! Surprising quality for its vey very low price point.

Stay safe everyone!
