My husband has a special love for WWII watches, especially the Elgin and Hamilton canteens. I think he has 7 Elgins and 3 Hamiltons. Great pieces of history. I like them also because they are small.
Really wish to see these... please? 🍿

The crown cover digs in a little, especially if the strap is tight. The Elgin moreso than the Hamiltons. It really isn't an issue.

I would definitely concur regarding much better "chow"...we flew a x-country flight to Sheppard AFB and stayed there the weekend. Holy smokes...it was like staying at some high-end resort or something...and the food on base at the "chow hall" was...F A B U L O U S. 👍

Also, regarding the mil watch canteens: How is the large crown regarding fitment on the left wrist? Do you just hike it up the forearm a bit so the large crown doesn't impact the back of the hand...or do you just wear it on the right wrist?
