路This is one of my favorite "beater" watches. I acquired it about 35 years ago. Still going as strong and accurate as when it was brand new. These inexpensive Seiko-ALBA watches never stop amazing me.

I'm killing time waiting for my wife to get ready to go out for dinner. I went through the ticking inventory for something dressy but casual and keeping with my Simple Saturday. I found this Elgin railroad watch. I hadn't worn it in a while because I didn't like the boring strap attached to it. I mounted it on this rather gnarly croc and I think it works okay.
