Today I rediscovered the fine execution of this dial on this Zenith El Primero ref. A788 (or 01.170.415).
The grain on the dial nicely corresponds to the brushing of the small case.
This watch was sold on a plain metal bracelet, but looks good on a strap, too.

路I doubt it the first Rolex Quick sets that worked like that was about 1980, maybe a bit earlier. AFAIK they had it first.
I'll have to give that a shot next time!
I stand corrected, not got a date on mine. So I described how I set my Omega chronostop and Seiko kinetic. Though they are both more recent movements. But not sure if they are classed as quickset?
