·Finally got the "new" case for the CPR Waltham today. So.....
1) first we scrap out the 1894ish movement and clean up the case (the old movement? hey, the balance is shot and some pieces have already been looted.... its dead)
2) mount the model 1892 CPR movement (made about 1914) and make sure it winds and sets smoothly....
3) wind her up, set the time and sit back and listen to it tick...... $40 well spent!
more bits for the parts bin.....

Thanks. It's a ref. 5022 Precision (i.e. manual wind) in a 14K rose gold 34mm case, ca. 1949.
