Took the family on a 45 mile boat ride yesterday (approx 1.5 hours) and now spending a few nights on South Bass Island in what is known around here as "Put in Bay".

I did a trip to there about 12 years ago with my family from Buffalo by boat. Gorgeous area. However it's not very family friendly on the weekends, I was 10 at the time and my parents locked us in the boat with the shades closed because the partying was very explicit. Enjoy your time there!

Minerva Automatic today. Bought months ago, finally arrived.
Very close to NOS condition..... Cal 4000n "Bidynator" automatic 25j version.
Not in-house, but a interesting movement nonetheless.

This is why we came up Monday afternoon and will be leaving no later than Thursday. It is a neat getaway but normally a more adult oriented scene.

We rented a golf cart last night and cruising around with my 11 year old daughter we didn't see anything inappropriate. In fact, in was nice and calm but for a few people having a visibly good time.

Not unexpected. Seller only offered shipment within Germany, and I had no chance to meet my good friend in Germany until this weekend.
I think it was worth the wait😀

Leaving today, but took a quick look in jewelers section on Wabash. Rolex central. One fake planet ocean for $3800. Another jeweler had only three Speedmasters because they sell out so quickly.
