So nice -- both of them. I have to call dibs on the LeCoultre - I think it misses me! 😁

That bumper rotor is out of this world! I could feel bumping around clearly when it was still in the cardboard box! 😲

Montreal blue skies, so back to this!

Montreal Olympic Stadium and Tower are 40 years old this year. I remember coming here with my family shortly after the 1976 Olympic Games.

Still on vacation = still 007

And me and my daugther of 2.5 years at her first 3D film. In fact her first time in a cinema. Walking with Dinosaurs... lasted about 5 min then we had to leave. At least we looked too cool to school

'68 transitional beater.

Complete with refinished case by STS and the DoN swapped for a serviced bezel as my dad wears it for polishing furniture, working on the house, walking in the Lake District, you name it.

It really is amazing how STS can refinish a case back to factory specs and make it look almost brand new. Probably unmatched by any other Omega authorized service center anywhere in the world.

It's not actually back to spec.

The case was pretty hammered when it arrived and I didn't want it polishing to death, so although it looks pretty good, there is still the odd gouge shining through. I'll do a thread on it when I get chance. I did an incoming but don't think I posted the after pics.

Well, it only took 2½ months to get here... My Rolex Constellation has arrived 😁

And what came along with it? Well, nothing but this 1947 piece of loveliness:

That case, that case! For future reference, this is what an unpolished vintage watch should look like:

Huuuuuge thanks to @Andy K who was instrumental in getting these across the pond 👍
Congrats!
I had something close...nice Watch !
