Not appropriate since it's Tuesday and Bond didn't wear Seiko but it is a 007 after all so not totally misplaced.
I love the name of this piece, "Gotham Gothameter", doubling up on "Gotham". A quick search didn't yield much. What do you know about the company?
What I was not wearing for two hours this evening in Montreal. We had dinner at O.Noir a restaurant with the meal served in pitch blackness (no flashlights, matches, cell phones, cigarette lighters or luminous watches) and service by legally blind waiters. Anything that lights up, including old lume) need to be put in a locker. We have been a couple of times before and the experience of using touch and proprioception, scent and hearing alone is quite something. In fact someone whacked in with a watch with lume and it was obvious from across the room. You end up seeing your own visual "noise" as the meal progresses. The concept actually originated by a blind pastor from Zurich (loose Swiss watch connection) who blindfolded his dinner guests! There are O.Noir restaurants in other cities. It's worth taking off the watches IMO.
What we wished for was basically a spatula, rather than fork and knife. Or a glove! It's amazing how poorly designed our cutlery is designed for people with visual impairments.
Not talking about the silly movies The books are way way better. Like most cases with book vs. movies, I guess
