This one came back from a rehab at the watchmaker's while I was away this past week. Got reacquainted with it as a weekend casual/chores watch today on a busy Saturday. We grouted tile for the bath remodel, went to the gun club range, cleaned the guns, and checked on the peaches which are ripe enough that the birds and squirrels are coming around.



Colt Government Model .45 from 1947 with a vintage Heiser holster from about the same time period. I'm guessing the Alpina Rensie also dates to the late 1940s but am not certain about that.
