路1953 Tissot, cal. 27B-21. This is a watch that only an idiot would love. It was fished from the 鈥楤ay for less than $10 and featured a broken crystal, tarnished hands, and worn-through lug holes. It cost twice what I paid to ship it to me, and twenty times that to service it. Clearly, I have the cost-to-value part of this hobby completely backwards.
But the idiot in me fell for that chocolate brown flinqu茅 dial, the unusual tulip lugs, and those sharkstooth markers still tarnished with 63 years of time.
