Today's watch, '55 Tresor and my 1874 Illinois in its "new" case. Since it was originally sold without a case I feel no remorse replacing the busted ass piece of junk the poor thing was stuck in. It wasn't its original case either! That was lost by an incompetent idiot "watchmaker" a few years back. Dig the 1/4" think crystal!
Still wearing Speedy Gonzales on its Omega replica NASA strap...BUT NOW...thanks to a genius named 'Rocky' at watchtalkforum.com, I can wear the Omega replica NASA strap in a much 'narrower' double-wrap configuration compared to what was previously accomplished. Previous 'wide' double-wrap configuration... Rocky's 'narrow' double-wrap configuration... So...I tried Rocky's 'narrow' double-wrap configuration backwards...so I can view the strap logo/text/numbers...and to protect the strap logo/text/numbers when laying the left arm/wrist down... Nice work, Rocky (at watchtalkforum.com)...take the rest of the week off...with pay!
In bed with lower back pain... old men should not cut down trees. Got breakfast in bed from my wife. Made things a little better. She then brought me this one to make it a lot better. Pic not of today of course and/but I do not think you want to see me in bed with a hot water bottle(?)(!)
Dropped out of this tread for a while. Work overload. Public holiday today. Oris Automatic Williams F1 beater. One of the first proper mechanical watches I ever bought. Before I discovered vintage.......
Seemed like a good time to take a photo. Now it is time to get back to being lazy. Public holidays are the best!
