·@Spy...my Omega replica NASA stap came as part of the current Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch presentation box set. I attempted to purchase a second Omega replica NASA strap (as a backup) through a local Omega AD but I was told that I would have to purchase an entire presentation box set (minus the watch) in order to obtain a second strap...which would have cost about $700. In other words, from what I understand, an individual cannot purchase just the strap from Omega. Luckily an OF member here was parting his presentation box set out so I was able to purchase a second strap. I would suggest that you post a WTB (want to buy) thread here at OF regarding the Omega replica NASA strap and/or check eBay.

·I have been wearing my 2792 today, here's an older pic:
Tomorrow, on May 5th, it's Liberation Day in Denmark, celebrating the end of WWII and German occupation. The news of the German surrender came via BBC on the evening of May 4th, and was celebrated across the country. One of the popular ways of marking the end of the five dark years was by burning the blackout curtains which had been mandatory in the country to avoid bombings and let the lights be on during the night. Today, it is a Danish tradition on this evening to put candles in the window sills to let the light flow out and overcome the darkness.
