I end up changing my watches several times a day. Just one or two more I desire and a few still to sell. Trying to get a vintage and modern mix. Happy with the Ploprofs. Today the modern one.

I threw this one on before light work in the yard, a 1969 ref. S8323A with cal ETA2750.

I bought it for the interesting dial which, I think, is part patina, part intentional, but I could be wrong! The seller called it a 'stone dapple' dial. Perhaps ugly to some, I do like the look:

Revue-Thommen was founded in Switzerland in 1853, when they first made clocks and pocket watches. The company is probably best known for its aviation instruments, and also for the 'Cricket' alarm clock.
The clarity of your photos and the pristine nature of your daily offerings continues to blow me away. Very nice quality and to my admittedly untrained eye, a very nice timepiece.

Friday night out about the town. Or at the bookstore. That's how we roll.

Just a cheapie. But I love the blue of the dial, and the (sort of) GMT is handy. f32862adeb26f4199a1388f72ad67ad5.jpg
