Out trying to get a fix on my longitude and latitude.

Y'all know how painful that can be.

What year [of manufacture] is your Hour Angle? How's your bezel? The blue paint on the big numerals of the bezel of my Hour Angle re-edition (purchased new in 1996) isn't holding up very well...the blue paint is wearing off.

Speedy Tuesday with what I've dubbed the Pre-racing Yemen.
Man this angle distorts my arm!

Honeymoon phase...

This is the first time I've noticed "Pt950" on the dial. Subtle. Probably obscured when the hands are in the classic 10-and-2 photographic position.

Two small eyes and one big eye:

Today I switched between my Datzward chronographs, so different but both driven by the Valjoux cal. 92.

Thank you,

Mine is circa 1987 cal 989.5215 and the bezel paint is intact and complete.

Speedy Tuesday!

馃槈 馃槈 馃槈

::stirthepot:: ::stirthepot:: ::stirthepot::

I'm a little thrown off by the watch on the right, actually alot. Bezel looks really weird (numbers dont look like they're in the correct position), caseback doesn't seem to look the mold of a true speedy, lugs don't look correct. Is it just me?

Here's what I know about this watch:
Eberhard & Co "Magie Noire" produced somewhere at the start of the 90's (series began in 1989 and lasted in production at least until 1995);
Reference is 34006
The movement is a Cal. 12" 1873 Lemania chronograph (base to Omega's x861 series)
Case in steel gold-plated 20 MI with a diameter of 40 mm. It has a hesalite crystal.

Here is a fresh movement shot. Removed some grime that accumulated on the circumference of the snap-back ring.

Thanks for the info, the search begins 馃榾

Waiting at the good Doc's office with the whole famn damily (minus the dog)...our youngest, Max, busted his collar bone and thumb during LAX practice at school about a week ago...anyway, Speedy Gonzales says, "Time to take some more watch pics utilizing the really nice vinyl upholstery on the waiting room chairs, dude!" 馃憤

You are correct, sir...the one on the right is fake. My buddy (a fellow former Navy rotor head) loaned it to me for kicks. He purchased it in NYC from a street vendor about 10 years ago for about $20.

Not on my wrist but it deserves an appearance on Speedy Tuesday before it goes!
