It’s been worn for eight days since acquisition last Thursday and it’s coming up on being a minute fast. Was sold as serviced and it is decent enough for my purposes.

I’ve had this 68 for maybe 25 yrs. It has a broken ms that can still store over 24 hrs of energy. But I was noticing the fine scratches. When I got it it was almost unreadable. After days of polishing it looked pretty good, but if you look at the outer edge of the crystal you can see how beat to hell the sides of the crystal are still. I’ll never have it serviced.

Now you know exactly how it felt to be an Apollo astronaut rolling along in the lunar rover. Remember the show Andy Griffith did about flying a private rocket back to the Moon and salvaging lunar leftovers? Was it Salvage 1?

Does she know about your developing watch thing?
She does. I've been pretty deep into watches since the 80s....too deep since the late 90s. The problem is, I'm just as far into a coupla dozen other collectible worlds. Chickens are not among them.

And never the twain shall meet/opposites attract, ect, etc 😀

Degaussed this ETA2824-2 earlier and it went from plus 40-80 seconds whatever I did with the regulator, to plus 0-5 in 3 positions.
