Today, Orbis!

I like wearing it on a Bellini brown gator, originally came on a black Omega one with slightly curved ends (currently on my AT).

Not many watches can compete with the Speedy today:

...Of course, unless they are a new arrival!

😁

I encourage all who want a wearable, good looking vintage Chronograph (and who cannot afford an Omega) to check out these! Have a look at @marturx 's - which is for sale - if you don't believe me 🥰

Slightly cheating. The Connie is due back from the watchmaker tomorrow, so in the meanwhile I've added it to my phone.

Couldn't edit my previous post; changed outfits and remembered it's Speedy Tuesday! (And yeah, it's evening here already).

Woohoo!

Is that an original Oyster bracelet at 19mm? Do you know what bracelets they originally came with?

Very undervalued chronos are these I believe. Great prices still to be had for these top looking chronos.

I am not sure what you mean by a glassy edge? How many executions in style were there, Tex? This is not an X1 then but maybe a X2?

This discusses the incarnations: "Glassy" as in smooth-mirrored surface, two-toned in color.

Mine came with a curved 20mm Swiss made Tropic strap, which would have been an option at the time.

My picture shows a 19mm SS stretch strap made by Fischer, I bought it in a lot with a bunch of vintage straps. The bottom one here is what is attached to my watch for now.
