OMG , almost didn't recognize it! That's an amazing angle, and its such a beautiful watch, anyhow.... here, it looks like a textured dial ...
Today I found the watch for this strangely colored strap. In my eyes this Zenith Tipo CP-2 "A. Cairelli Roma" looks very well on this strap. Cheers, Mick
Then, is that why I get an endorphin surge whenever I wear this one? BTW, I think you meant the lugs, right?
I had on a few today -- a friend is trying out his watch photography (successfully, it seems!)...BTW: make sure to view the full-sized pics.
At the office...still wearing the faithful SEIKO 6309-7049...on the Rothco protective band...which seems to be 'a form of entertainment' for some of the flight attendants. NOTE: Photo courtesy of the other pilot...who also views the Rothco protective band as 'a form of entertainment'.
On a trip to England in 2000 (pre-911) a friend of ours and business class hostess on our flight, arranged a flight deck visit for my wife and me. I was interested to see that the captain was wearing a Tag automatic wind chronograph! I expressed surprise at his choice. He told me that he liked mechanical watches because he could interact with them. Whereas the A320 we were flying in, didn't really need him all that much- in case something went wrong! He said it could take off by itself, fly itself, and land by itself, though the crew did both the taking off and the landing. Nothing adverse happened on that flight, but we were glad they were there.
