Eterna WWW today. When I had it serviced a while ago we considered cleaning and reluming the minute hand. Decided it looked too much like an authentic MoD job, and hence left it as is.

Yes, Emre, The Glycine Guru, helped date it to late 1960 with the serial #, and my watchmaker confirmed a Felsa 692N movement inside.
It also has the 10 sided screw back and non-cross-hatched crowns indicating an early incarnation.
Emre is a great guy and super knowledgeable re Glycine's... truly amazing! I bought his mid- 90s Seawalker about 15 months ago. It's one of my beater/travel watches and was on my wrist/at the hospital with me when my son was born last March. So bc of that last fact, I'll likely never get rid of it. Thx for triggering the memory...on my wrist now as I go dig out the front walk and garage entrance. Requisite blizzard photo of snow from last night just as storm ended in NYC area.
