I'm starting the new year off with Ed White. This watch is less than a year older than I....my new years resolution is to get in the same shape as the watch. 馃榾

I don't have an Omega yet, but this is my first ever mechanical automatic watch from Victorinox.

Our dog Boomer got a good start to the New Year: a vigorous hike in the Santa Monica Mountains, and a nice scratch behind the ears.

View from the high point of our hike: the Pacific Ocean, Santa Monica Bay, and in the distance Catalina Island.

I decided to start 2016 off with the temption cameo and a Glock 20. Now that Texas officially allows open carry.

How will that happen? It's in a comptac CTAC holster on my hip. I know. You thought I was tucking a Glock in my belt without a holster which would result in that happening. Lol

Not to get too technical, but I don't think the "belt tuck" qualifies as a legal open carry option 馃榾

Edit: after modification to previous post, I now see some gadgets attached to the belt and/or waistband -- presumably to attach a hidden holster. I'm not sure if I understand the advantage of having the Glock squeezed in between one's belt and gut, but I must assume it passes legal muster 馃榾

True. Open carry requires a belt or shoulder holster per the statute.

This is my Tuckable in the waist band holster that I conceal carry. It allows me to tuck a dress shirt over it. All you can see is the belt keepers. I took a state troopers deposition once and after the depo he asked me where my Pistola was.

I would never stick a Glock in my belt.

Today, I'm wearing my Stauer Dashtronic. I bought it well before I really got into watches. It receives more compliments than all my other watches. Funny how that works.
