Busted out my grandfather's 7009-8229 to make it a Seiko Saturday. 7664ab8d11dcb00040ff80e0b937b2c3.jpg

I'm loving the Seiko and thinking I should get out its darker blue faced match that I've had since new...... then I see the grandfather word.......
Oh my goodness am I really that old?

Yes I guess its happening, since the motorcycle in the garage, the one I bought new, qualified for "historic vehicle" plates 12 years ago.

Damn!

oh well.... now where is that Seiko..... I can't remember.

Polywatch will do in 20 minutes what it will take 2 hours with Brasso or toothpaste. The results are fantastic.

I have never bought Polywatch but is it any different from any fine abrasive in a liquid solution such as Brasso or Toothpaste? We used to use Brasso and oil or WD-40 for lapping in injector nozzles/seats and it got a mirror finish.
