It's still Speedy Tuesday! Speedy Gonzales says it's time to make the donuts so that the little Mad Dogs can receive the more expensive UHG anthracite coal this Christmas.
I had a '72! My first major purchase... and I was 17... I was supposed to buy a 'practical' car, but just like with watches... Lots of memories with this one. Here's the only photo of it I can find:
Hey @Mad Dog -- here's the stuff you've been looking for. It's meta-anthracite that I picked up on the island of Sumatra. Just e-mail the photo to your kids.
Amazing! I LOVE those thick stripes, wow! They really accentuate that beautiful curve that always drew me to that car! I was just shy of 19 (granted it was 1993...) Mine was white (someone had repainted it from a beautiful dark/brick red) and, like you, I was supposed to buy something a "bit" more practical. Car engine would automatically turn itself off in November and would start magically right up the first nice day in March. It was so strange. For the life of me, I cannot find a single picture of her. [emoji19]
Too many watches? That's an oxymoron. No such thing! If NEEDS determined how many watches you have, there might be a basis for too many! But WANTS? Never too many!
