    Thanks guys but...

    strike 1 - modern replacement:eek:

strike 2 - bezel improperly aligned :cautious:
    strike 3 - file photo:whipped:

    I'm so ashamed, but it's dark and I'm in a hurry. :(

It just effects its collectability slightly. But it is a genuine Omega bezel and it preserves the watch. Sure it is better if the watch is all original, but in truth the likelihood of finding an original great looking example is rare. Your watch looks great, dial and movement original and bezel modern replacement great. Does it mean if we or someone damaged an original watch it has lost all its sparkle. Hell no! The value is effected yes that makes sense as an all original one will cost more, but your one will have a reasonable value and it looks great. Look at the Christies auction recently, even people commented the watches may not of been perfect 100% but very near. How can something be 100% perfect after all that time, but near perfect yes.

It begins with an "S" and ends with an "R" which is as close as it gets on a Tuesday ;)

That's because Nicks is in much nicer condition...and his is stainless steel, much more desirable by most.

Another modern Apollo XI LE today as they have been getting jealous of the vintage Speedmasters...

Or 4. None of the above really matters...

Yep. I go for 4. Gotta love that bezel.
