Been a while. I thought I would wear an old favourite as I head out to run some errands. This is my 50 cent farm yard sale Certina. I paid her $2.00 for it. Condition was such you could tell it had been a farmer's watch. He wore it 'til it quit, and he threw it into a box. Re-done dial, chrome plate the case, crown, crystal, rotor post, condition. Hard to tell exactly how much I have in it now, as the case replate was a barter deal, done by a friend who owed me. But close to $200.00 (Cdn.). The movement is a Kurth Freres, a movement that was used by Hamilton, among others. Beautifully finished, good design, pretty to look at. I think it compares very favourably with a lot of the big name makers from circa the 1950s. I love it!

Would he happen to be one of us?
Edit: Thanks, but apparently, he doesn't do Bund style in any less than 16mm :(. However, I may have found someone else...

Not an original bracelet. A NOS period correct one. I have no idea what might have been original to the watch. Likely a leather strap.
