    The poor Speedmaster has been neglected for years...never made the rotation. Its amazing what a new strap will do, I swapped out the old strap with this simple leather one and now I'm in love again.

    I have an Eterna Matic 3000 and feel they are very underrated. When introduced in 1962 I understand it was the slimmest automatic watch with a date in the world. These are reliable and extremely comfortable to wear. My 18ct gold one is shown below.

    Very nice watch Sgt Bilko, I agree, underrated. Love mine, the linen dial is hard to photograph though. One of my favorite watches and I wear it often.

    Mine is from 1967 and at a guess your one may be older. I find it very hard to get through the day without wearing this one for at least an hour or two.
