Just needs a proper crown, a case clamp and maybe a crystal without the cyclops now. 馃憤


I actually like that look.

I know the SMPP might not have been issued with that crown, being a Constellation type crown, but did Omega ever use the cyclops that early on?

It's an original Omega crystal, but I have seen some date models with the cyclops and some without. Not sure if they originally came out of the factory with the cyclops and then crystals were replaced with non-cyclops ones or vice versa. It's possible that the decision was up to the buyer since you can get both cyclops and non-cyclops crystals for many models. I prefer the non-cyclops though, it lets you see the whole dial. 馃憤

I'm guessing the crystal probably came with the connie crown when that watch was serviced, definitely needs a clover (with or without naiad)

None of the known examples around have had a cyclops in any of the four versions

Just picked up from FedEx this morning 馃憤

I put it on my 20mm Omega mesh until I get a 21mm brown Alligator strap ordered

That blue hands/white face look is great - congratulations 馃憤

Its the 42mm version and looks even better in person, the white is sort of pearl and the blue is quite dark until the light catches it and then the whole watch really sparkles.

I've always wanted one of these but they seem to be a bit scarce in the 42mm size. Now just to see how the 2500B movement behaves as most likely it will need a service.
