TGIF! Starting the weekend with a recent arrival. Late 1960s French-issued Type 21 with a very seldom seen bezel variation.
Got mine from Martin, civilian model though. I concur these sweeties are keepers for sure. Have a free hug from me while you're waiting to find yours
Today, I'm wearing these two Timex watches...the one on the left is a mechanical hand wind and the one on the right is a quartz. I purchased both new at a Navy Exchange in the late 1980's/early 1990's while flying in the military. I believe they each cost about $10 to $20 at the time. The goal was to have watches [watch bands] that matched what I wore flying...which was sage green NOMEX...which obviously didn't work out so well...lol. Anyway, instead of acquiring more watches...I have decided to entertain myself with what I already have...my parents were staunch believers in this.
DIBS! @Gatsby ...might I be first on the list? Although, it doesn't sound as though you'll be willing to give it up anytime soon Definite grail for me...
