Mido Multifort bumper automatic, I am guessing late 1940s or early 1950s. Bought at an estate sale, complete with warranty and original box with outer shell. I watched a guy pick it up, ogle it, and put it back down. As soon as I could do discretely, I gathered it and an adjacent GP with wind indicator up. Paid (very little), and departed. Don't wear it often. Too small for my big wrist.

No particular reason...just felt like wearing this one today.

Tried to capture the lighting effect of the recessed minute dots. Always makes me smile when I step outside and I see it.

Last night decided to change the hands on my flightmaster to the vintage yellow hands I had, not an easy decision to open a recently returned watch from Al but ...........



Also changed the pushers but fitted a new pair instead of the single yellow dot ones I have as they just didnt seem like they would be even remotely water tight.

I love steel with gold furniture and nobody does it better than IWC


I also like "complete number" dials so this is a special looking watch to me
