One thing with the smiley moon disk is I have seen many faded ones like this on what looks like a much newer dial (I.e. The smiley moon disk seems to grow yellowish fairly easily despite the dial being kept in a good condition). While the non smiley moon disk of Tricompax seem to keep its original look pretty well. Has anyone had the same observation?
Never noticed it before, but it works: here's a couple of later ones, both blue, both without the smiley
Just picked up my flightmaster 145.013 from FedEX this morning, now fully serviced by Al. The watch has been with Al for quite a while due to his earlier poor health so its nice to have it back and hopefully a healthy Al from now on too I have a set of vintage yellow hands so may decide to fit those but happy with it as is for now and the domed crystal is especially nice as is feels quite different from the flat crystal of the 145.026 / 145.036.
Heavy machinery arrived today. Trying them all on. Might interest those who like proven divers you do not see every day.
Wearing two just now ( @Mad-Dog -ging ), as the Longines HW cal 280, with a new lizard skin, was crying for wrist time: This was a tricky photo with an iPhone, BTW! There's no timer used for this one [emoji33]
