Don't forget to look for the lunar eclipse tonight. Most in Europe, Africa, and the Americas should be able to see it.

Of course it's supposed to be completely cloudy here near Chicago 馃檨 so I've made the best of it by fully setting and wearing my Speedmaster Moonphase. Tonight I'll be enjoying Lifetime's new "The Speed Edition" which just came in. YaY!

Love this one!

'81 6309 today
@AAAKK...I forgot to say "dibs" earlier.

That's got to be one of the finest examples of a 6309 that I've ever witnessed.

What's the story behind it? Did you purchase it as NOS? Do you have the B&P? That 6309 is "frosty"...I remember my 6309 being "frosty" when I purchased it new in 1987 (but it ain't "frosty" now)..."frosty" is cool. 馃槑

Pre bling Rolex. Circa 1952. Ref 6024. 36mm. Never been to Everest but it is high in my book anyway.

Limited amount of watches with me this week, so resorted to strap fiddling - somewhat of a Black Bayish Blue look ...

Glad you like it. It got put away in a drawer by the original owner after buying it in '81 and sat there unused until he sold it recently. B&P got discarded at some point. Yes, still nice and "frosty" just like it came from the factory.
