Was expecting this one today, and it did not disappoint. 😀
Airane Type 20 (though I think technically it is a Type 21), issued by the French Army to helicopter pilots. This example is circa 1969, Valjoux caliber 222 with flyback or "retour en vol" feature. The three star mark indicates chronometer certification by the Besançon Observatory.

That is breathtakingly beautiful. It's been a while since I've been that blown away by a vintage watch that I wasn't aware existed.

A big ol' diver chrono today:
